Enhancing Presentation with Slides and Other Visuals

The first step to enhancing your presentation is to plan the presentation visuals. It could be electronic, overhead transparencies, chalkboards and whiteboards, flip charts or other visuals. The next step is creating effective slides. Although it can be a bit tough it requires rational and creative instincts. When writing readable content one must ensure that each slide is to one thought with no more than 40 words per slide. Bulleted phrases are better than long sentences. The use of active voice is preferable along with short informative titles and others. When modifying graphics for slides bear in mind avoid repetition, shorten numbers, limit data, highlight key points and adjust size and design. Transitions are very effective when giving electronic presentations. It makes it easier for the viewers to know when you are changing topics. Completing slidees and support materials. Creating Navigation and support slides will enhance the presentation some are title slides, agenda and program details, navigation slides.
